Why it works
Your business uses most of its power when the sun shines
Equipment, air-conditioning, refrigeration and lighting run between 9:00 and 18:00 — exactly the hours a rooftop solar system produces. Today all of that electricity is bought from EAC at a commercial tariff of around €0.255 per kWh excl. VAT (≈ €0.30 incl. VAT).

Questions business owners ask
Do I need to invest anything?
No. Olevanto pays for design, permits, EAC connection, equipment, installation and insurance. You buy only the solar electricity your business uses.
How is the price of solar electricity set?
Your price per solar kWh is linked to the EAC tariff and always stays below it — up to 30% cheaper than standard EAC tariffs. The exact discount for your site is set from your EAC bill.
What if my business uses less electricity than the system produces?
You pay only for the solar kWh your business actually consumes, measured by a dedicated meter. We size the system to your daytime load so that most of the solar power is used on site.
Does my EAC contract change?
No. You keep your EAC connection and contract for evenings, nights and any extra demand.
What happens at the end of the contract?
Depending on the option you choose (7, 12 or 15 years), you buy the system at a price fixed in the contract, extend the agreement, or we remove the system at our cost.
Who is responsible for maintenance, breakdowns and insurance?
Olevanto. Monitoring, cleaning, repairs, inverter replacement and insurance are included for the whole term.
Which businesses qualify?
Operating businesses in Cyprus using roughly 300 kWh or more per day, mostly in daytime, with a suitable roof of about 250 m² or more that they own or control long-term.
How long does it take?
You receive a free estimate within 5 working days of sending one EAC bill. Permits, connection and installation typically take 3–5 months from signing.
